The SIGMA eBay add-on is connected via the eBay API interface and consists of two components:  the user interface, which works directly as an add-on in SAP Business One, and the autonomous eBay connector. The user interface depicts the usual surrounding and the customer is able to put in new items. The eBay connector also works without opening SAP Business One and is responsible for a permanent comparison of data with eBay. If an item is sold, the eBay connector creates a customer order or an outgoing preinvoice (option can be set) in SAP Business One. The eBay connector also checks the stock of the items, which are put into eBay. In case an item is sold via a different sales channel the auction is automatically put to an end on eBay. This secures that no item is sold on eBay, which is not in stock.

• Items are compiled in SAP Business One and marked as eBay item.
• The item is automatically set up in eBay. Price, description and pictures are taken over. A selection of mailing options and price options (start price, minimum price, buy it now price) is possible. The eBay item ID is stored in the master data of SAP Business One.
• Categories are synchronized with eBay on a daily base.
• If an item is sold, a customer order is set up in SAP Business One. The item is put up again as long as it is in stock.
